The AMD Versal AI Edge series VEK280 evaluation kit is equipped with the AMD Versal AI Edge series VE2802 device, offering AIE-ML and DSP hardware acceleration engines, along with multiple high-speed connectivity options. The kit is optimized for ML interference applications such as automotive, vision, industrial, medical, and scientific markets.

The Versal AI Edge series of adaptive SoCs allows developers to rapidly evolve their AI algorithms and sensor fusion while leveraging a scalable device portfolio for diverse power profiles and performance from edge to endpoint. The VEK280 board targets AIE-ML applications with a higher level of integration, increased computing performance, and lower latency enabled by the Versal AI Edge series device.
