GCT range of cable assemblies featuring the I-PEX MHF 4L LK (locking) connector offer a durable option for users where connection integrity is important. When assembled with waterproof SMA connectors.
The MHF 4L LK interface has an integrated and patented locking mechanism to ensure the connector is secured when mated onto the PCB connector, protecting from accidental disconnection due to bump, shock, and vibration. It also compliments the existing MHF®4 and 4L series, as it shares the same PCB mounted receptacles, making upgrades to users design a simple option (providing sufficient clearance is available on the PCB to accommodate the locking latch mechanism).
MHF4L® LK offers a compact footprint with a mated height of 2.0 mm. The PCB mounted receptacle has an outside dimension of just 2.0 mm x 2.0 mm.
There are 10-off individual product series of GCT cable assemblies available with the I-PEX MHF 4L LK micro connector, with four different SMA connector configurations, a straight or right-angled jack in both standard and reverse polarity, with and without IP67 and IP68 rated sealing. SMA connectors allow for bulkhead mounting and are a great choice for applications where ingress protection is required.
