About Perinet
Perinet develops Single Pair Ethernet components that connect sensors and actuators directly to IT systems. Each device becomes its own network endpoint: it announces itself on the network, is configured over REST and publishes its data over MQTT, with authentication and encryption at the device. The periCORE communication module inside every Perinet smart component is also available to device manufacturers for their own products, and the periMICA edge computer runs containerized applications next to the machine. Perinet is a Berlin spin-off of the HARTING Technology Group.
