Compact 100 V Silicon Motor Drive Reference Design for Humanoid Robotics — Coming Soon!
The Infineon integrated 25 Arms motor-control solution combines inverter, control, sensing, protection, communication, and auxiliary functions in a compact design
The Infineon REF_HUMA_MTR_25A_SI is a compact 100 V silicon motor drive reference design developed for humanoid robotics. The all-in-one solution integrates the inverter, controller, and auxiliary circuits while supporting sensored or sensorless field-oriented control with CAN and UART communication. Designed to deliver at least 25 ARMS and 1 kW of output power, the reference design targets a 24 VDC to 60 VDC input range with 48 VDC typical operation and a switching frequency of 100 kHz. Its round form factor, measuring no more than 66 mm in diameter, enables the inverter to be embedded within the motor for space-constrained robotic joint designs.
