The PDL is one of the many enablement resources within Infineon's development environment for ARM Cortex-M based MCUs. This includes easy-to-use interface tools; such as a GUI for programming binary files, a pin and code configuration tool, and a utility to easily create USB applications. Also provided are other hardware and software resources. The various hardware options range from fully featured application development kits to low-cost starter kits. Several third-party IDEs support Infineon MCUs and contain prebuilt projects with code examples, and the Peripheral Driver Library.
